Butterfly Pea Tea

Can you believe this color? When I saw natural blue tea, I knew I had to try it. It’s an herbal tea made with butterfly pea flower, a plant native to Southeast Asia known for it’s midnight cobalt blue color. It’s also super high in antioxidants and used for anti-aging and beautifying properties (literally the very opposite of alcohol’s effects).

There are even studies that show that it helps fight inflammation.

When you add citrus to it, (or apparently pineapple juice), it turns purple. Here, I added soy milk for some extra creaminess. So fun and so yummy.

I got this butterfly tea blend from Teami, a tea shop that makes blends with teas, herbs and natural ingredients to make effective health and wellness solutions.
